Functions of the General Branch
General branch looks after all types of purchases of consumables and non-consumables items and AMCs of fax machines, printers, computers, photocopy machines, Govt. Vehicles etc.. Also deals with the matters of hiring of vehicle, maintenance of building with PWD. General branch also hires staff on contract basis for sanitation and security services. General Branch also deals in all matters pertain to telephone bills, mobile bills, liveries of Group āDā, Electric & water charge bills, re-imbursement of newspaper and magazines to officers, pest-control.
